It was a wild first week for FY2014 with swings of around 2% on each of the first 3 days. Ultimately, the week ended slightly ahead, but it was without much conviction.
EGP was much more stable, hardly moving on those first 3 wild days, before rising late in the week. I am hopeful of consolidating our 32.58% return in FY2013 with another strong year in financial 2014.
This time of year is inordinately busy with organising the Audits and a variety of other administrative tasks (issuing newly subscribed shares & the like), so I will probably keep the weekly blog down to a short note for the next few weeks, unless something of particular interest occurs.
You should know though, that I have deployed some of our cash/fresh capital this week and am hopeful of further opportunities over the coming weeks and months as we head towards that most magical time of the year… Reporting Season – Tony Hansen 07/07/13
