Update No. 189 – 14/11/14

I am being chauffeured North by my Wife as I type this to meet some old friends for a weekend of swimming, recreation and golf. I play golf about twice a year, it could be ugly…

I should address our underperformance the last few weeks. It all comes down to our large UOS holding which is trading at low prices for no apparent reason, as with all things stocks, eventually the share price will reflect the underlying business. We have added marginally to the position as I expect the opportunity may not last long.

I will keep it a short one, the weekly details as always are below. If you are hankering for something that will help you on your journey to wealth creation, I will instead direct you to Mr Money Mustache for “Are You Giving the Shaft to Your Future Self?

This method very closely replicates the behaviours I adopted as a younger man, and is the reason that despite very financially modest beginnings, Sue and I have managed to build a decent financial situation for ourselves – Tony Hansen 14/11/2014
